Adjustable Gas Shock - Hilux
Adjustable Gas Shocks are the latest invention by Profender. They are designed with a turning knob at the lower end of the body that allows you to configure your ride depending on your needs and your desired comfort. This gives you a freedom to decide on the quality of ride and handling control you want in no time! The second stage of the adjuster is as hard as on the original shock absorbers. The 4th stage provides a much firmer ride and can be used when carrying higher loads.
Compared to the original shock absorber the Profender Gas Shock is designed with a much bigger body and better quality. With a 40mm body and a 20mm shaft, this shock is capable for heavy duty off road use!
The front shock spring seat is adjustable in height! Adding the two aluminum spacers under the spring seat, will lift your vehicle by about 2 inch! When using longer lift springs, the spacer rings should be removed. The shocks are about 35mm longer than standard. This allows a proper downward travel, when the vehicle is lifted.
Especially recommended for Pickup trucks, as the original shock asborbers are usually way to stiff when having no extra weight on the bed.
Available for the old and new Toyota Hilux / Vigo.
